Glass Types

As a substrate, we mainly use borosilicate glass from Schott (BOROFLOAT, DURAN). This material goes along with a high optical quality and transparency up to the UV range. In addition, borosilicate glass impresses by extraordinary resistance towards chemicals, towards mechanical stress and towards strong temperature jumps.

For specific applications, other types of glass can also be coated:

Dimensions (min. / max.) Thickness (min.) Resistance (Rsq)
Borosilicate 10 mm / 500 mm 0,7 mm < 10 Ohm - 10*6 Ohm
Lime Soda 10 mm / 500 mm 1 mm 200 Ohm - 10*6 Ohm

Quartz

Mineral Ceramic
